Loving My KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer ~ Review and Giveaway ~ CAN 09/08

I am really excited to have the opportunity to review the KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer. My hair is wavy and frizzy, so it’s difficult to manage, and on top I use a hair straightener to take out the curls. I thought the KISS Tornado 360° would be the perfect hair dryer for my type of hair, since the ceramic tourmaline technology helps in reducing frizz while the patent-pending 360° rotating air booster generates a pulse within the airflow creating a revolving pattern to uplift the hair and ensure complete drying with added root volume. With the humid summer we are having, I need all the help that I can get!

KISS Tornado 360° 1875W DRYER

I wash my hair every other day, and have been using the KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer for 3 weeks.  The photo to the left shows my hair wet. Can you tell that I am an 80’s kind of girl! Yep, I can rock with the best of them, bring it on Bon Jovi! I do love my wavy hair, except its so difficult to keep the curls without the frizz.  I have to let them dry naturally and apply products to tame the frizz. I can’t comb or brush it, if I do I am doomed and look like a shaggy dog, so I prefer to blow dry. The photo to the right is with my hair dried using the KISS Tornado 360° Dryer.

I have to say that I am impressed with the results. Did the KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer take out all the frizz in my hair? No, but it almost took all of it out! It’s definitely a major improvement from my regular hair dryer that I normally use. The KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer also dried my hair a lot faster than usual, saving precious time in the morning, and my hair felt softer to the touch, silkier, and with added volume. For ultimate results, I suggest reading the drying tips provided in the owner’s instructions.

My daughter also wanted to dry her hair using the KISS Tornado Iconic Dryer. Her hair is opposite to mine, fine and straight. It’s fairly long and takes about 20 minute to dry, but with the KISS Tornado 360° Dryer, it only took 10 minutes and her hair was so smooth and shiny. The 360° Rotating Air Booster distributes the heat evenly for a faster drying time. She liked the dryer so much, that it’s now in her bathroom! This definitely means that I will have to purchase one for myself. The KISS Tornado 360° 1875W Ionic Dryer is only available at Wallmart in Canada at a reasonable price of $34.96.

  1. My hair is thick and fairly straight. Now going rapidly grey and I reckon that I could fill a pillow every day at the rate I find hairs floating about, it’s still thick though thankfully 🙂

  2. My hair is short. Somewhat thick and straight, colour treated and with a bit of body. I blow dry my hair about 3-4 times a week so I keep it moisturized and conditioned every other shampoo. Awesome hair dryer!! I need my old one replaced. Thanks for the chance. Yours and your daughter’s hair looks lovely!!!

  3. I think my hair is like yours. Curly and frizzy if left with no product. This dryer did a great job on your hair. If I don’t win I will buy one at Walmart!

  4. Re: my hair is fine. Wow, prize dryer is fab. & splendid. 2 fingers snap. It is tight, fly & off the chain. Thank you for the awesomeness, the contest, and generosity. 🙂 Pick me, pick me!

  5. My hair is curly, thinning, dry, has split ends, and is frizzy! I would love to use this Ionic dryer with the diffuser attachment!

  6. I have wavy hair but all the kids have different types: black very curly, blonde wavy/frizzy, blonde very curly, brown wavy and red wavy!

  7. My hair is thick & used to be straighter, until in the 80’s my mom gave me an at-home spiral perm. Ever since then it’s had some wave in it.

  8. I have a question about this for my wife. She has shoulder length very fine straight hair. Is the cold setting actually cold or is it a cool setting? I’m assuming that it is cool because it looks like there is a cold shot button (the black circular one) above the temp settings. Is this correct and makes it even colder than the cold setting or are they the same and the cold shot is just used to give a quick blast of cold air? My Wal-Mart does not sell them in stores so I wanted to check with someone who has used it and can tell me about it. Thanks!

    • Hi Matt! I would have to say that it’s more of a cool setting. Both are cool… it’s cold air, but not cold like a fridge. Hope this helps!
