Keeping me on track
I was observing my 5-year old daughter working on something yesterday. I didn’t know what it was. She wouldn’t let me come too close to her. It was going to be a surprise. She had a piece of paper and a pencil and I could see that little face of hers concentrating on what she was doing. She also has a tendency to stick her tongue out a bit when she is writing. I find it absolutely adorable. I wanted to take a picture of her but she probably wouldn’t appreciate seeing that picture at some point in the future posted online for the world to see.
This however is what she made. She made a list for me of all our scheduled weekly activities to help me keep track of everything. She proudly told me “Mommy, I sounded out all the words!”
I love it. And I keep it exactly where she asked me to keep it. On my nightstand. I smile every time I see it.
luv it! especially chooz-day and mom-day – those sound awesome!
I love the ‘tick’ marks too 🙂 Only 5 and already making lists and checking things off.
That’s adorable! I love that she calls it Momday!
That is adorable! A must have for the scrapbook forever. Just love it. Peeano, choozday, momday…you can’t make that up!
This is priceless !
