Jump into Creativity with Goliath Games

Games and activities are great tools to have around a home with kids. They can help to take young ones away from a device or a screen and help them to connect with each other. They can also assist in inspiring their creativity in different methods. Goliath Games loves to bring out creativity in kids. They asked us to try a game and an activity centre they thought my kids would love to play with.

Building fun

My kids love building structures. They also love to watch them smash into pieces only to create a new building. This is why I was sure my littles would enjoy playing Build or Boom. The object of this game is simple: Build your structure on the card before your opponent on your platform then destroy their structure to pieces.

Both younger kids were eager to get building and booming with this game. It took them no time at all to figure out what they had to do to start having fun. They love blasting each other structures apart by bopping the detonator for their platform. It is also great that there are varying levels of difficulty for the various structures on the cards.

My son even enjoyed putting together structures of his own when he played by himself. He loved building new and bigger structures that were not on the cards and made some fun buildings.

Art without the drips

Creating art is a favourite pastime for my kids. Painting has to be one of their favourite mediums to create new pieces of art. Paint-Station wants to make bring thoughts to life fun with their Paint-Sation Easel

The specially made Paint Pads are the magical part of this set. All users have to do is touch their brush along the specially-designed bristles to begin creating art. Spills are a thing of the past with the Paint Pads. You can turn them upside-down and the paint won’t drip or dribble out.

Both kids love creating with this paint set. The Paint Pads are a fun surprise. One half of the 2-in-1 Paint Pads has a sparkly colour to use in their works of art. Each of the Finder Nibs in has a cute symbol to enhance the pictures they create.

The Paint-Sation Easel helps to make my kids feel like they are artists. It is really clever to have spots for up to five Paint Pads easily slide into place for quick access. The clip holds paper in place while painting. One of their favourite features of the easel is the brush holes.  My kids could simply grab a brush and place it back when they are done with it.  I wish there was a holder for the Finger Nibs so they could be front and center for young artists to access.

Two creative thumbs up

Overall, both of my kids found it easy to jump into creativity with products from Goliath Games. They had a blast putting together and destroying structures with Build or Boom. Using items form Paint-Sation made creating art fun without all of the hassle of cleaning up paint drips. This game and activity centre also allow for them to have fun together or on their own while being creative. That is a big help when a child is home alone or when individual play is needed. We are so happy to have received them and they will be used for many days to come!

My name is Lian Wright. Born in Toronto, I came to Ottawa as a student to study Political Science at Carleton University, and came away with an Honours Degree, and decided to stay. I'm a huge sports fan, have a love of reading, and like experiencing new things whenever I can. I am now a mother of three children (11, 1 and 7 months old) and am kept constantly on my toes. My blog, Pieces of Me, is my way of sharing what I have enjoyed and encountered in my life so far as a mother. So far, being a mom has had it's expected ups and downs, but that's what makes being a parent so fulfilling for me. I've loved and learned from what's happened so far, and I can't wait to see what's in store for me next. I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
