I love getting glammed up. When I put my look together, one of the things I want are full, glamourous-looking lashes. I have tried many different types of mascara to achieve this look with varying results from clumping to no real change to irritated eyes. That is why I was excited to test Younique Products 3D Fiber Lashses.
Younique Products Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes promise to enhance your lashes that are water-resistant, yet are easy to remove. These fiber lashes and the transplanting gel are also contain natural ingredients such as beeswax, Brazilian palm glue and natural fivers taken from Green Tea, so less chemicals are going to irritate your eyes.
I loved the small and chic case that holds this product. It is perfect to put in your purse or bag on the go, and I like the textured design on the case as well. I also like that there is not too much to this system. One stick is the transplanting gel and the other holds the natural fibers. You can see just how small these fibers are in comparison to my finger.
Finally, I liked the idea of having the sticks being held in place by the straps inside of the case.
This is what my lashes looked like before any product has touched them.
The instructions to apply these lashes are easy to follow:
1. Apply and even coat of the Transplanting Gel to your lashes.
2. Apply Natural Fibers while the Transplanting Gel is wet.
3. Seal the fibers with Transplanting Gel Repeat these steps until the desired effect has been reached. Below is my final result.
I also liked how the instructions given with this product gave some helpful tips to get your desired effect for your lashes.
• Do one eye at a time.
• Use a lash brush to separate your lashes.
• Repeat the steps for longer, thicker lashes.
The results were instantaneous. The transplanting gel coated my lashes really well, and the natural fibers were easy to apply. The fibers did fly around a bit, but then I learned not to have too many on the wand that you use to apply to your lashes. Once I reached my desired effect, I was surprised at how fast it took to complete this process.
I then wanted to remove the natural fibers to see how difficult this task would be. I used a cream eye makeup remover and a cotton ball on my eyes to remove the transplanting gel and the natural fibers. It took a few wipes with my cotton ball to remove, but it came off without any irritation to my eyes.
Overall, I liked Younique Products Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. The instructions were easy to follow, I got an immediate result after applying this product to my eyes, and I did not have much trouble removing the transplanting gel and the natural fibers.
