Get into the Spirit of the Holidays with YTV’s #MerryEverything

The holidays are one of our most beloved times of the year. It is a great time to be together with your family to enjoy each other’s company. My family has been in holiday mode since our first snow a few weeks ago, and cannot wait for Christmas and the New Year to arrive. A fun way I get my family into the holiday spirit is by watching holiday specials. It is a seasonal tradition I have passed down to my kids. This year YTV is helping families create or continue this tradition with their Merry Everything holiday programing that runs all December long!

Why is YTV is my family’s Ho Ho Ho Station? Ever since I can remember, my sister and I would rely on this channel to air some of our favourite Christmas specials as well as other holiday-themed movies and marathons. We knew that if we wanted to see if a fun holiday show or movie was on, YTV was the place to check. Now as a parent, I also like that YTV is a safe environment for my family to enjoy watching holiday programing together. We did not have to worry about what they were going to be watching because the shows, movies and even the commercials are geared towards kids. This way, we are able to take in all of the cheer of the season without the worry of seeing something that might be too mature for young eyes. Take a look below at some of the fun your family will experience with YTV’s Merry Everything holiday programming schedule.

I was really excited when we downloaded this year’s Merry Everything schedule. It allowed us to figure out when we would be able to hunker down on the couch or start decorating while enjoying our favourite shows and movies. YTV is putting a bow on everything, and everyone’s invited with their Merry Everything holiday programming schedule!

What are some of my favourite programs YTV has planned for their Merry Everything seasonal scheduling? Check out below to see!

My kids love building snowmen, so Frosty Returns will be one to watch. How can you not want to see Frosty save a town while keeping everyone in the holiday spirit?

We are all HUGE Muppet fans. We are sitting on pins and needles to watch Muppet’s Christmas Carol and sing along with the gang of Muppets as they retell Dicken’s classic story of redemption.

Since we are staying at home this Christmas, I am so happy that Christmas Day is COMMERCIAL FREE!

Once the Big Day has passed, the great programming continues! My kids will love watching all the movies and holiday specials YTV has on deck to get the family in the spirit to ring in the New Year. A personal favourite of mine is Rudolph’s Shiny New Year. After saving Christmas, our red-nosed friend is on another mission. It is one my kids always ask questions about and watch enthusiastically.

I'm a huge sports fan, have a love of reading, and like experiencing new things whenever I can. I am now a mother of three children (11, 1 and 7 months old) and am kept constantly on my toes. My blog, Pieces of Me, is my way of sharing what I have enjoyed and encountered in my life so far as a mother. So far, being a mom has had it's expected ups and downs, but that's what makes being a parent so fulfilling for me. I've loved and learned from what's happened so far, and I can't wait to see what's in store for me next. I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
