Eating food while travelling with kids

Trying to keep things simple when travelling with a 3 and 4-year-old can sometimes be tricky. We just ventured out on our first family vacation. We had to drive to the airport then have the joy of two flights to get to our destination. Being the first time travelling this way I was a bit in a panic. I’m not a fan of all the fast food out there however when need be it’s good for occasions. I packed up some snacks and food for the final destination. Being a night flight and landing for 8:30pm, I knew dinner was a must, and that the airline would only provide “snacks” that would not be anything healthy for them.

*I checked with security before to make sure I was able to bring everything on flight* they are a lot more “forgiving” when you have children. Please note you may want to do to the same thing.

Things that I packed for the boys:
cheese and crackers
yogurt
cut up apples and cinnamon
bananas
bagels and cream cheese with avocado
cherry tomatoes salad
milk and water

It sounds like a lot of food however Mommy and Daddy need to eat to.

Wow you packed quite the feast and really healthy but I don’t know if they would still let you bring all of that because I was told no liquids for one thing but it may depend on who you deal with.
