Disney Princess Frozen 2-in-1 Castle Playset #Review and #Giveaway ~ CAN 12/22

I’m sure you’ve heard of Disney’s new movie Frozen. It came out recently and tells the story of two sisters, Anna and Elsa, trying to save their kingdom from eternal winter. We haven’t seen it but that didn’t stop my kids from getting really excited about the Disney Princess Frozen 2-in-1 Castle Playset we received to review. This castle is bigger than I expected with lots of room to play. It opens up and has a regular castle on one side and an ice castle on the other, and on the back is a fun ice-slide.  It comes with lots of accessories to fuel little imaginations.

If you get this for your kids this Christmas, know that it takes a few minutes to put together, and those are some long minutes when you have excited little bodies bouncing around, ready to play. It’s definitely a toy to put together the night before.

My kids love playing with this castle and their only complaint is that the princesses shown on the box don’t come with the castle. You can buy the characters separately. Guess what my kids will be getting under the tree this year? Even so, they have played with this castle every day and use whatever characters they have on hand. Some days it’s animals from a play farm we have, or monster trucks, or stuffed animals. Everyone gets to play.

The castle has held up to some pretty intense play sessions and I’m sure it will remain a favourite for a long time. This would make a great gift for all the little people in your life, not just the girls.

  3. Haven’t seen it & probably won’t until it’s on DVD, but I definitely will see it at some point- can’t NOT watch a Disney movie!

  4. I have not see it yet with my kids (because we are speaking primarly french 🙁 and I dont think it’s worth the price of the tickets to see it with them in english. But if it’s still on at christmas we will be in Quebec and they already asked me if they can go see the movie in french 🙂 so we will probably see it at this moment 🙂

  5. My son saw Frozen this past weekend and loved it. He’s in the running and reading club at school and they went to the movies for their Christmas party. I can’t wait to see it so I think I’ll be taking him back this weekend to see it again.

  6. This is the most adorable “doll house” I’ve seen in a long while – it’s so cute, what little girl wouldn’t love it?

  7. No we haven’t seen it. Won’t see it until it comes out on netflix unless I’m able to buy it on dvd or something. Movies are far too expensive to go to in the theatre but it looks good and it is on my “i want to buy it” list 🙂

  8. no, in this type of weather (-37 windchill and its been like this for weeks) we don’t go very far from home, and we don’t drive to the city just to see movies
