Are you ready to make turkey the star of your summer meals? Choose Turkey and you could win a $250 Visa Gift Cards thanks to Turkey Farmers of Canada, Think Turkey Contest!
We’re in the thick of a hot summer in Canada! It’s the perfect time of year to get outdoors and to fire up the BBQ! So many meals can be cooked up on the barbecue to tantalize taste buds, and turkey can take the flavour of any meal to the next level. Turkey’s lean fat content also helps to reduce flare-ups on the grill. The rich and hearty flavour of turkey is also perfect for the barbecue!
Turkey is a fantastic protein that can be served in so many delicious ways. It is a low-fat, high-protein meat that is great to cook. This tasty protein can be substituted to your family’s favourite BBQ dishes like burgers, kebobs, and sausages.
On a hot summer day, when you prefer not to cook, a delicious sandwich with sliced deli turkey, or one made with leftover meat from a whole turkey, will be an ideal meal to serve the family for lunch or dinner. There are so many amazing ways to enjoy a turkey meal!
