 FREE Music Together Trial Demonstration Class by Cappella Music Together

Saturday, April 6, 2013, Canterbury Recreation Complex will be having an open house from 10 am- 12pm- with a TRY IT FOR FREE! Music Together Trial Demonstration Class at 11:00am.PLEASE RSVP:  www.cappellamt.com To register: Go to “Classes”, scroll down, Select ‘CANTERBURY FREE TRIAL!’ Tab, Select ‘register’.

This is a FAMILY CLASS 0-5 YRS. As a group, we play with songs and rhythm chants by exploring and experimenting with things like:

·        Vocal and rhythmic play

·        Small and large movement

·        Useof rhythmic instruments (shakers, sticks, scarves, balls, drums, etc.)

·        Freestyle,expressive dance.

·        Instrumental jam sessions and so much more!

·        A Music Together®® class is NOT a “music lesson,” performance-based, nor is it amodel for musical perfection.

It is an active, participatory model of DOING music with your child. By creating a warm and inviting settig, we encourage both you and your child to have fun making music together regardless of your perceived musical skill, talent, or training.

NEW: The Music Together program will be offered at the Canterbury Community Centre starting in the FALL 2013 Session:

  • Registration Dates and Session Dates for Fall 2013 and Winter 2014
  • Fall Registration Dates 2013: September 5, 2013 from 7 – 9 p.m. and September 7, 2013 from 10 a.m. – noon.
  • Fall Session Dates 2013: September 19 to November 21 (10 weeks).

Lyne is happily married and has two amazing teenagers. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI), Certified Professional Wedding Consultant, and an Event Planner. It has always been her dream to create a website dedicated just for Moms since her children were young. In April 2011, she received the City of Ottawa Mayor's City Builder Award.
