Add to Your Child’s Summertime Fun with Zuru Toys!

Summer vacation may not seem that long when you look at a calendar, but it can seem to last forever when kids become bored. Zuru Toys want to help each day one filled with fun with the brands they have in their roster of toys. I was asked to test a selection of their toys to see if they could add some fun to our summertime. We could not wait to see what we would get to test.

These are the toys Zuru Toys sent my family to test and add to their summer fun this year:

For anytime, anywhere summer fun

Fidget toys have to be one of the hottest new toys of the year. My kids were not asking to have one…they were campaigning to us to buy them. When I surprised them with these toys, they were simply over the moon with happiness.

Zuru Spinners by Antsy Labs were designed to help keep your fidgeting habits at bay. It is made of high-quality ball bearing to allow for smoother spin, twirl, and fidget motions. Their unique zinc coated ball bearings also let your spin your spinner longer. The high-quality plastic this toy is made of makes this toy durable, so it will not break easily and is available in 4 different colours.

The Original Fidget Cube™ by Antsy Labs is designed to help users keep their focus. It is done by the activities you are able to do on each of its sides. Users are able to glide, flip, roll and click to keep focus. It is also made of high-quality plastic, so it can take a drop or two. It is available in eight different colours.

Not only did my kids LOVE playing with their Fidget toys for hours on end, I cannot get enough of using them as well! We all love trying to master the different tricks that can be done with these products. They can spin all day and flip and click to their heart’s content. I became a huge fan of the Cube because I can get bit antsy at times waiting in line, or getting writer’s block at my laptop. Having something in my hand to help pass the time or help to turn the gears in my head came in handy. These toys are really good to play with, no matter the place or weather, as they are small enough to take with you wherever you go!

Solo or multiplayer fun

Does you child have a need for speed? Whether they are alone or their friends, Micro Boats are the perfect toys to fill this void. Micro speed boats are water-activated and self-steering, so it is like attending a speed boat race in the comfort of your home. These zippy vehicles can reach speeds of 200+ MPH in four different directions, so they can add fun to bath time, the pool or even the beach.

Two Zuru Micro Boats on a table

My kids got a kick out these micro boats. We were lucky enough to have received the Shark Attack Playset so they can really watch these boat in action. The set took a few moments to assemble without the use of tools (which is always a bonus).

They had a blast watching the boats zoom by and playing with the crane to be a part of the racing fun in the water.

I also like the blades of the motor. They spin quickly, but not so much that they will cause damage to fingers. My son and I both tested it, and the motor stopped once it hit a finger. This safety feature gives me peace of mind when one or both of my kids are racing with this playset or with the boats on their own.

Outdoor Playtime Fun

Do your kids need to burn off some energy? Have them pop into X-Shot Bubble Balls to release their pent up energy. They are giant, durable inflatable balls that kids can go inside and bounce their way to fun. There are internal handles and straps to keep kids secure while bouncing off of each other. The multi-chambered bubble ball gives this toy strength so it will not pop easily on contact. This toy comes in one and two unit packages. Note – This toy does require an electric air pump to blow the balls up.

We received two one-piece Bubble Ball sets because, well, it would be a bit difficult to have the whole experience with just one. My kids went bananas when they saw the bubble balls waiting for them.

They quickly slid into each ball and began bashing into each other. I was really happy that there was a lot of clearance between where their heads were in the ball and where the top of the balls to help secure their heads to secure their heads should they fall. The kids even saw an opportunity to chase me and give me a workout while in the balls. It was a great way for them to have fun outdoors.

There will be no shortage at fun in our home with these toys to play with this season!
