3 Ways Shopping is Made Easier with Wagonbags

Shopping can be a bit taxing. Searching for reusable bags and finding a place for them in your shopping cart with your items is no one’s idea of fun. Relying on the plastic bags stores provide means tacking money onto your shopping trip and worrying about them breaking on your way home. Hoping cooler items like milk, yogurt and ice cream stays cool on the way home is also a worry no one likes having. Wagonbags has created reusable bags to help get rid of these hassles. They asked me to review their set of insulated and non-insulated bags to see if shopping can be made easier for my family.

Each set of Wagonbags comes with two cloth bags and two non-sulated bags to allow users to keep the cool items cool from the store to your home. Velcro is attached to each bag in order to attach and detach bags so you can tote the amount of bags you want to carry for any particular shopping trip.

Why did I really enjoy using Wagonbags? Take a look below to find out!

  1. “Handling” Capabilities

Taking Wagonbags with me to go shopping made my errands so much easier. It is simple to get the bags from bags to about 1/5 of their size. All I had to do was flatten them out with the yellow cloth bag on the bottom, roll the bags from the bottom a few times, and secure them with the Velcro strap to keep them rolled up tight.

The handles on these bags made toting them around a breeze. Most of our grocery visits are done on foot, so carrying a lot of things with me is not an option. I loved being able to slip the handles of the rolled up Wagonbgs and go. It was like carrying my yoga bag, only much lighter. I was also not worried about the bag giving way to the items within it as Wagonbags are thick and sturdy.

  1. Savings for the environment (and for you, too!)

By using reusable bags, it saves on your plastic footprint. What does this mean? Less plastic is being put into landfills and is needed to be produced for shopping bags since Wagonbags are made out of cloth with an insulated lining. How do you save? Many stores have adopted a policy of charging a fee for using plastic bags. Having Wagonbags on hand saves money each time you shop!

  1. Convenience, convenience, convenience!

Shopping with my little ones can be a challenge.  Getting in and out of the store is the goal we have whenever to take on this task with them.

Wagonbags made this process convenient for us to tackle. They were easy to unroll and place in my cart. The bars stayed up well to support the items I placed in them. It was great to be able to have our milk, orange juice and other cool items in an insulated bag. Knowing that they would remain cooler until I get them home gives me piece of mind in knowing that they will be fresher while in transit than if they were in a non-insulated bag. On rainy days when I have my entourage with me, it was also good to know that these bags would hold up well while being pulled home.

Overall Experience

I really enjoyed using Wagonbags while running errands around town, there were a few aspects I felt could improve my shopping experience with this product.

I really felt that each bag could have the Velcro strap attached to all of them. This way, each bag could be rolled up and used individually or with as many of the bags as you wished. Only the yellow uninsulated bag has this strap.

Another feature I wish was available on each Wagonbag was a pocket. Again, if I wanted to use only one bag, I would be able to carry the essentials with me into a store. The purple insulated bag is the only one that sports a pocket.

Overall, I really enjoyed using Wagonbags! They were easy to tote and use when shopping. Wagonbags collapse conveniently in order to wear over your shoulder or tuck into the trunk of a car. Organizing items are made easy by having the bags supported with the bars at the top of each bag. Finally, I loved being able to have my cooler items separated from the rest of my goods in an insulated bag to keep them cooler until I get home.

  1. These look amazing! I can’t decide if I like the insulated feature or the bars to keep them upright in the cart the best!

  2. I especially like the one that is insulated. Even thought I come right home after grocery shopping things like frozen yogurt and juice start to thaw in regular reusable bags. Having a pocket on it is a great feature so you can tuck in your keys and bank card instead of carrying a purse too.

  3. My car is unfortunately already chock a block with cloth shopping bags and I have a extra freezer bag too so I won’t be entering this giveaway, good luck to all who do enter. 🙂

  4. I did not understand these bags till I watched the video, and I like that they all are lined up in the basket to pack the groceries, makes it easier to use

  5. Love that they collapse conveniently, we have a bunch of bags that don’t do this and they end up being a jumbled mess.

  6. I love that they are so easy to carry around. Now with so many stores banning plastic bags (which is good) I’m carry a whole bunch of all different sizes of reuseable bags.

  7. I like the insulated wagonbags very much. As well, the fact that the bags stand up will make loading them so much easier!

  8. I like that Wagonbags are thick and sturdy so I don’t have to worry about seams giving way if I put a large item into them. And in the video, I liked how they all seemed to be connected (in the grocery cart) making it easy to load them.

  9. I like that they separate items while you shop (and keeps them separated until you get home) thereby making putting groceries away easier.

  10. I have some like that but mine are all attached to one another. They only work for walmart as my superstore cart is that double layer thing. and mine are HUGE so you cant really fill them up to full cus you’d never be able to lift that

  11. I really like that you can sit these in your shopping cart and pack straight into them, instead of stuffing things randomly (like I usually do, lol).

  12. I absolutely love the fact that these bags are insulated and keep my cold food cold! I always am concerned my food will go bad, especially in the hot summer, before I get a chance to pop it in the fridge!
