| January 19, 2018 | 16 Comments

Big game day is just around the corner. Whether you’re throwing a big bash or a smaller party, there’s no better time to plan the menu. Honestly, there are thousands of appropriate recipes to consider. This is especially true when it comes to the category of “munchies.”

What follows is a list of yummy options to serve your football-loving guests. I’ve tried to include a little bit of everything even things the kids will love.

Some of the recipes can be prepared ahead of time, which gives you more time to enjoy the party festivities.

1. Loaded Baked Potato Cups – Mom’s Who Save

I can almost guarantee that these loaded baked potato cups will disappear faster than you can yell “touchdown!” As far as ingredients go, there’s no reason not to get creative.

2. Avocado Egg Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce – Savory Tooth

Eggrolls are always a fun party treat. The sriracha dipping sauce is a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet.

3. Spicy Crockpot Meatballs – Pack Momma

Meatballs are super-easy to prepare in a slow cooker. This recipe calls for frozen meatballs, which makes the entire process even easier.

4. Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers – Dinner at the Zoo

Game time is definitely “poppers time.” Honestly, your menu won’t be complete without their cheesy, bacon goodness!

5. Easy Homemade Corn Dog Bites – The Flying Couponer

These homemade corndog bites are almost too cute to eat. Younger party guests will totally appreciate eating them.

6. Football Mini Meatloaf Recipe – Mom Foodie

Football (mini) meatloaf with string cheese laces, anyone? Shaping them by hand is probably easier than you think!

7. Marinated Cheese, Peppers and Olives – Bunny’s Warm Oven

Cheese and crackers are a game day tradition. Kick things up a notch, by adding peppers and olives to the mix.

8. Individual 7-Layer Dip Cups Recipe – Thrifty Jinxy

Almost everyone loves 7-layer dip. Making it in individual servings, means no one has to share.

9. Jalapeno Honey Chicken Wings – The Bewitchin’ Kitchen

Chicken wings and football create the perfect pair. These are coated with honey and have a jalapeno kick.

10. Game Day Eats Chicken Waffle Sliders – Food, Folks Fun

Sliders are the perfect “finger food.” Chicken and waffles and syrup… oh my!
