Summer Fun Begins with Mastermind Toys – Review and Giveaway ~ CAN 07/12

| June 18, 2015 | 117 Comments

Summer is has finally arrived! With schools getting ready to close their door and the weather becoming warmer, kids are going to want to have a lot of fun. How are you going to keep your kids entertained this summer? Mastermind Toys has put together their Annual Top 25 List of toys that will make this summer a whole lot more fun for the family! All of these toys will be available at Mastermind’s 39 locations across Canada, as well as online.

Whether shopping in-store or online, we love going to Mastermind Toys! They are Canadian owned and operated, and have been selling toys for more than 30 years in the greater Toronto area. They have just recently expanded to 39 stores, and are still growing! Their staff is awesome at providing the best customer service, and is really helpful when we are trying to find the perfect gift for our kids for their ever-growing wish list. They even offer complementary in-store gift-wrapping for easy one-stop shopping!

Out of this amazing list of toys, I chose to review the Slackers Slide N Surf water slide. I never had one do these toys as a kid, and I wanted my kids to try out one of these toys so we can create some sun memories throughout the summer while beating the summer heat.

My kids could not wait to rip open the box and start playing with our Slackers Slide N Surf water slide. It was easy to put together. All we had to do was lay it out flat, Pump it full of air (I would suggest using an electronic air pump so you can get playing much faster than with a hand or foot pump), and twist your hose to the attachment on the water slide.

Once the water starts flowing inside this toy, it is awesome to see water spraying out of the side of the slide to get the slide wet and ready for play. My kids squealed with joy as they saw how high the water shot into the sky.

They then took tentative steps along the water slide until they hit the end where they then began to splash and play. They had a blast playing with the Slackers Slide N Surf water slide. We really did make some fun and fond memories, and we can’t wait to make many more with this fantastic toy!

I'm a huge sports fan, have a love of reading, and like experiencing new things whenever I can. I am now a mother of three children (11, 1 and 7 months old) and am kept constantly on my toes. My blog, Pieces of Me, is my way of sharing what I have enjoyed and encountered in my life so far as a mother. So far, being a mom has had it's expected ups and downs, but that's what makes being a parent so fulfilling for me. I've loved and learned from what's happened so far, and I can't wait to see what's in store for me next. I hope you enjoy the journey with me! Author's website.
