Coughs and colds have become the norm in our household since out younger daughter started school this year. It seems as though someone has been sick every week since September. We were getting tired of constantly being sick and endless doctor’s visit.

That is why I was really happy to have the chance to have my family review products for cough and cold from Boiron to see how they would help make us feel better. Boiron has homeopathic products to help relieve cough and cold symptoms for children and adults.

It is the worst feeling in the world when my little ones comes home ill with a cough or cold. I wish I could take away the headache, sore throat and mucus that are making her feel under the weather in an instant, but I know that it is not possible. Stodal Honey cough syrup for children relieves both dry and wet coughs for children ages 1-11. This syrup is a honey-based syrup which contains nine homeopathic ingredients that do not cause drowsiness. It also does not contain any dextromethorphan, diphenhydramine or guaifenesin that could cause side effects that are harmful for growing children. We REALLY needed this syrup as our daughter seems to always have a cough since she has started school this year.

For cold symptoms your little ones may have, Coryzalia for children is designed to help relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose and acute rhinitis (or the common cold) in children ages 1 month and older. There are a few great features about this medicine is that it does not contain any sugar, dyes or preservatives. There is also a sterile and drinkable dispenser to give accurate unit-sized doses to your child when needed. This medicine is great for our little guy as he is hates taking medicine, yet has a running nose all the time!

Since I seem to get just about everything my kids pick up, I need to take care for myself, too! That is why it is great that Boiron has homeopathic medication in adult strengths to help care for my cough and cold symptoms!

Boiron has released a new Stodal Cold & Cough syrup! It is a multi-symptom formula that is designed to relieve cold symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, minor sore throat, dry or productive cough (a cough that produces or expels phlegm) or chest congestion. This syrup is great because it covers a lot of symptoms I get, especially during the winter months and helps to get me through it so I can be on my game at home and while I clack away writing blog posts.

I love that Boiron also has a Coryzalia that is formulated for older children (age 5 and older) and adults to take as well! Coryzalia also helps to diminish cold symptoms such as stuffy or runny nose, sneezing as well as acute rhinitis. My teen daughter is still not a fan of swallowing pills and tablets, so she likes that they are chewable and then she lets them dissolve so she does not have to worry about having it get stuck in her throat. I like that these tablets are non-drowsy, so we can get through the day without cold symptoms or feeling sleepy.

It is great to have Oscillococcinum on hand, especially during flu season! It relieves flu symptoms such as body aches, headaches, fever and chills. It is great that my whole family can take this medication, and that it can be taken at the onset of feeling flu symptoms and when the symptoms have been established. It is also good that it does not cause drowsiness and that each dose comes in pre-measured packages and is easy to take.

Along with cold and flu symptoms, my family also suffers from chapped skin brought about by so many different reasons during the winter. Cicadermine comes to the rescue by relieving skin and nasal irritations such as chapped skin, superficial wounds and redness. It also helps to heal skin so it can get better as well as sooth irritations. Cicadermine also does not contain antibiotics, as antibiotics tend to increase the risk for antibiotic resistance in skin bacteria. The skin on our chapped hands due to the dry air in the winter, and our irritated skin feels better after we use this cream.

All of these great products from Boiron have come in handy for my family this winter. These products have reduced our cough, cold and flu symptoms so we feel better and have less sick days. Our irritated skin also feels better so we can enjoy more time playing and less time worrying about where our skin hurts. So if you are looking for a more natural way to get better, then give these products from Boiron a try this winter!
