Get Pampered with The Body Shop Spa of the World! Review and Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide ~ CAN 01/04

| December 10, 2015 | 136 Comments

This time of year is stressful for a lot of people. Besides the usual day-to-day operations my family goes through, there is the added stresses of work and running around to get ready for the holidays. From time to time, I need a break away from everything for a few moments. I was really happy when asked to review items from the Spa of the World from The Body Shop. I finally made the time to block some “Me Time” in my home spa with these products for a while and to pamper myself!

The Body Shop Spas of the World Products Ottawa Mommy Club

I tested the following products from the Spa of the World line from The Body Shop:

  • Dead Sea Salt Scrub
  • Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath
  • Japanese Camellia Cream
  • Tahitian Orchid Massage Oil

My skin can get rough and needs to be brought back to life every so often. The Dead Sea Salt Scrub works to reveal fresher-looking skin and stimulate circulation when massaged into the skin. It has a soft sea scent that reminds me of the ocean. When I used it to exfoliate my skin, it felt great. Once I was finished, I rinsed it off and my skin felt smoother than it did before using it.

Who doesn’t like having a luxurious bath one in a while? The Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath provides users with this experience! This product has three oil extracts that leaves skin feeling luxuriously smooth. When I used the Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath, I was in a happy place. The first thing I noticed was the simple and sweet scent emanating from my tub. It put me in a happy and relaxed mood. It also felt good soaking in this mixture while it helped me to focus on the moment and relax. Once I decided to drag myself out of the bath, my skin felt softer and I was more at ease.

The harsh weather wreaks havoc on my skin. I was really happy to get to try the Japanese Camellia Cream! It is used to gently soften and moisturize skin, and its scent allows for users to ease their mind. This cream is so great to when I just want to start and unwind after a long and hard day. It has a floral scent that really does put you at peace, It is like a whipped mousse, and absorbs quickly into the skin. My skin feels moisturized after applying it. It’s a fabulous product!

When I was treated to a massage my other half, I had him use the Tahitian Orchid Massage Oil to rub into my skin. The scents of vanilla orchids, ylang ylang and patchouli made me feel like I was at the spa. This oil felt great as it was being rubbed into my skin, and I was at peace. Once my massage was over, I felt great and my skin felt blissfully happy.

All of these items from the Spa of the World line made me feel rested and rejuvenated. Each product took me from feeling blah to blissful, helping me to switch my mind off for the day. I was really happy with all of these products and can’t wait to book myself another “Spa Day” at home to pamper myself again!
