How awesome is it to find an event that will help create fun family bonding and lasting memories? Even Better? It’s FREE!

Round up family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. Arrive early, stake out your section of sand or grass. Bring a picnic, a blanket and a lawn chair, movies start at sundown but make sure to get there early to get a good spot!. While your waiting for the movie, play some Frisbee, toss a ball, fly a kite, build a sand castle or just relax!

Come and see acclaimed English and French Canadian feature films, screened outdoors on alternate nights, on the grounds of Rideau Hall. Bring your blanket and settle in to watch these films under the stars.

Centretown Movies Outdoor Film Festival

It’s back at the Dundonald Park at Somerset & Lyon this summer! All films begin at 9pm. Donations are accepted. I will post the dates and films when they become available.

Lyne is happily married and has two teenagers: a 16 year old son and a 20 year old daughter. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI), Certified Professional Wedding Consultant, and an Event Planner. It has always been her dream to create a website dedicated just for Moms since her children were young. She was also the co-chair of the Navan for Kraft Hockeyville 2009-2011 committee that organized five community events within 6 months, and helped Navan reach the top 10 finalists in Canada. In April 2011, she received the Mayor's City Builder Award.

    The Centretown movie schedule is from last year. They haven’t yet released the 2016 schedule.

    I love the fact that these movies are family orientated and free too. It was a shame that when my kids were little we couldn’t go to the movies with them, with 7 of them it was just too expensive for a family night out. This is a marvellous opportunity for all families to see movies.
