Chocolate Banana Pops Recipe

| January 30, 2015 | 23 Comments

This is such a yummy frozen treat for banana lovers! Be aware, it’s messy to make, finger liking good!

Chocolate Banana Pop Recipe

Peel the banana, cut it in half width-wise and insert the popsicle stick part way into each banana half.

Put in a freezer plastic bag and freeze for about 2 hours.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips on half power (50%), checking every 10 -20 seconds, so they don’t over cooked. Add 1 tablespoon of milk or water, so the melted chocolate mixture is more liquidy, and add more milk or water if needed.

Dip the bananas in the melted chocolate until they’re fully coated.

Dip in rice cereal or crushed nuts, if you like.

Place on wax paper and put in the freezer into a plastic bag to set for another 30 minutes.
