The rhyming story of a bedtime sailing adventure.

As an independent publisher, Barefoot Books focuses on books, puppets, puzzles, games and more! Barefoot Books really wants children to learn and explore and imagine. Their books shy away from the commercialization of today’s society and focus instead on make believe and world diversity.

The story of a peaceful, vegetarian dragon who saves the day!

This is obvious from the selection of books Michelle sent for review. She chose 5 of her favourites which I then shared with my kids. Some they will appreciate when they get a bit older, but at 2 and 4 their favourite was My Granny Went to Market. I love being able to share different cultures with them and this book does just that, taking the kids around the world on a magic carpet buying different items

A fun counting book that takes little readers on an adventure around the world!

Barefoot Books uses an ambassador program to sell their books meaning you won’t see them in stores. By buying Barefoot Books you are supporting people like Michelle, who became an ambassador to share these fun and educational products with her family and her community.

Michelle works tirelessly – she’s at events around the city, she helps organizations with fundraisers, and she hosts parties out of her home. I’ve met her and I can tell you that she is passionate about reading and Barefoot Books.

The story of the 4th wise man is about how our physical journeys mirror our internal journeys.

You can search for books on the website by age, subject or format, or browse through Michelle’s favourites. If you’re the type who really needs to feel the book and flip through it before buying, I would recommend checking out the home parties Michelle offers. Her events are all listed on her website: Michelle’s Barefoot Books. Michelle also has a Facebook page where she shares information about sales and special promotions.
