Here are three reasons you really need a blogging strategy:

  1. To help people find you – When you have a solid blogging strategy, it will help you pinpoint your target audience. Then you can create posts that will attract those people to you. You will be helping the people you want to read to find you.
  2. To outline what you will do – Your blogging strategy is an important and useful way to outline what you do and highlight when you will post, what you will post, and how you will get your topics out there to your readers. It’s a game plan, so to speak, for everything that you will do on your blog.
  3. Determine your purpose – To have a successful blog, it’s important that you know your purpose. Why are you here? How are you different? What do you provide for the reader? Your blogging strategy helps you determine your purpose and narrow your focus.

Blogging is definitely hard work, when I think of having to write and do reviews, set up giveaways, contact firms re giveaways it’s a lot to handle and all in one day too. I couldn’t do it I do know that. I take my hat of to all the bloggers out there. And a lot still run a home and take care of kids, some even home school too!

I try to blog sometimes and then I realise that I just want to share with family and friends. I need to dedicate some time each day or every other day to just write.
